“Panona” puff pastry croissants

INGREDIENTS

  • 800-900 g Panona flour type 400 (soft)
  • 1 / 2l of milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 margarine
  • 40g yeast
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • teaspoon of sugar
  • 1.5 tsp of salt

PREPARATION

Preparation: Put the yeast in the lukewarm milk to rise. In more than half the amount of flour, add egg yolks, oil, salt, sugar and milk with yeast. Knead, and gradually add flour until dough is smooth. Leave it to stand for about 1 hour, on a warm place. Divide the dough into 8 balls, and after 15 minutes stretch them with a rolling pin, to be the size of a plate. Pile them one to another, make sure you grate frozen butter between each of them. All together once again stretched to 1 / 2cm thick and divide into quarters, and each quarter at 6 parts more. Place them in a greased baking sheet, brush with egg white, put salt, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees until they become golden brown.
