The local “Panona” johnnycake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg flour type 500 Panona
  • 5 dl sour milk
  • little water
  • oil
  • salt
  • baking powder

PREPARATION

In flour add baking powder and mix well. Dilute the sour milk which was previously diluted with a little water and add the flour. Knead well the dough, and grease with oil and then knead again. Shape the dough into a circle, little flatten the top, and place it in a greased baking dish. Leave it to stand for 15 minutes, drill it a bit with a fork, and bake in a well-heated oven at 200 degrees for half an hour. When the cake is ready, wrap it in a cloth and leave it to stand.
